Fresh and vibrant salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, and creamy feta cheese.
Ingredients
- 4 large tomatoes, cut into wedges
- 2 cucumbers, sliced thick
- 1 red onion, sliced thin
- 200g feta cheese, cut into chunks
- 120g Kalamata olives
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 30ml red wine vinegar
- 5g dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps
- Cut tomatoes into large wedges
- Slice cucumbers into thick rounds
- Slice red onion thinly
- Arrange vegetables on large platter
- Add feta cheese chunks on top
- Scatter olives over salad
- Whisk olive oil with vinegar and oregano
- Drizzle dressing over salad
- Season with salt and pepper
- Let stand 10 minutes before serving
Notes
Use the ripest tomatoes you can find. Traditional Greek salad doesn't include lettuce or other greens.
