Ingredients
- 250g all-purpose flour
- 5g baking soda
- 3g salt
- 230g unsalted butter, softened
- 150g granulated sugar
- 165g brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 10ml vanilla extract
- 340g chocolate chips
Steps
- Preheat oven to 190°C and line baking sheets with parchment paper
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl
- Cream butter with both sugars in a large bowl until light and fluffy
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract
- Gradually mix in flour mixture until just combined
- Fold in chocolate chips with a wooden spoon
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown
- Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack
Notes
For extra chewy cookies, slightly underbake them. Store in airtight container for up to 1 week.
