BBQ Baby Back Ribs

Tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs with smoky dry rub and tangy BBQ sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 racks baby back ribs
- 45g brown sugar
- 15g paprika
- 10g chili powder
- 10g garlic powder
- 10g onion powder
- 5g black pepper
- 5g salt
- 3g cayenne pepper
- 250ml apple juice
- 500ml BBQ sauce
Steps
- Remove membrane from back of ribs
- Mix all dry ingredients for rub
- Coat ribs generously with rub
- Wrap in plastic and refrigerate 2 hours
- Preheat oven to 135°C
- Wrap ribs in foil with apple juice
- Bake for 3 hours until tender
- Remove from foil and brush with BBQ sauce
- Increase oven to 220°C
- Bake 15 minutes until sauce caramelizes
- Let rest 10 minutes before cutting
- Serve with additional BBQ sauce
Notes
For authentic flavor, smoke the ribs on a grill with wood chips. Internal temperature should reach 95°C.
